WOO HOO, this is day 4 of my own personal challenge! Of course, this has taken me all day, 4 attempts at different cards and my trash bin is over flowing. Today’s challenge on Splitcoast is the Ways to Use It Challenge, WT105 – Glossy Rerun. The challenge today is to use glossy cardstock, which I have tons of. After so many different attempts, I finally decided to try what I did yesterday on the glossy cardstock and see how it looked. I colored the image of the flower with markers, misted it and then stamped out 3 images. I love it! The ink pools on the top of the paper drying in varying depths. It gives so much dimension to the image. I liked it so well, that I used the same technique on the sentiment. All the edges of the glossy cardstock were sponged with Ranger Walnut Distress Ink and then layered on Mellow Moss and Perfect Plum cardstock. The bottom layer is Well-Worn Words stamped in Mellow Moss on Mellow Moss. To finish off the card I added some ribbon and brads.
