I’ve had tons of questions about what I am ordering from the new SU Fall-Winter Collection Catalogue. My list was somewhat short, until I went through the catty again in preparation for Stamp Club last night. I’ve broken in down in categories:

MUST HAVE NOW:

Dog-Gone It
Garden Whimsey and Jumbo Wheel
Priceless
So Swirly Wheel
Baroque Border Wheel
Tres Chic
Outlaw DP
Le Jardin DP
Scallop Punch
5-Petal Flower Punch
Wanted
Bronc Buster
All the new in-color double-stitched ribbon

MUST HAVE SOMETIME LATER:

Batty for You
Big on Christmas
Voila to Go
Totally Tabs
Stem Sayings*
Define Your Life
Star Punch*
Photo Corners
Brass Templates: Priceless, Pick a Petal, Punches Plus
Jumbo Eyelets

I LIKE BUT DON’T KNOW IF I NEED:

Boatloads of Love
Stamp of Authenticity
Genuine Articles

*might move to the must have now category

I haven’t placed my order yet (as if I don’t already have enough new rubbah to last me for years). I am however, waiting on my Stamp Club members to get their orders together, and then I’ll place mine.

Happy Tuesday! It’s hard for me to believe that tomorrow is the 4th of July and we have no plans. I’m sure both girls will be working, and if not will be spending the day with their friends – which gives me uninterrupted studio time – WOO HOO!

As I mentioned yesterday, I am in the land of ATC’s and swaps. I was hoping to be able to get the last two sets done yesterday, but as my luck would have it, I finished the second set this morning. For this set, I chose some of my new faves of SU’s new in-colors and what I think will be a much reached-for set, Baroque Motifs.

Baroque ATC

I double-stamped the flourish first in Soft Sky and then in Blue Bayou. The edges of the image panel were then sponged in Purely Pomegranate and flowers were added just here and there. For the medallion, I stamped the first image in Blue Bayou on Soft Sky and the second image in Soft Sky on white, stamping a red flower in the center. Both pieces of the medallion were then trimmed and sponged in Blue Bayou. The bottom medallion was distressed before sponging. They are separated by mounting tape to add a little dimension. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and Purely Pomegranate and then embossed with clear EP.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs

Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky

Paper: Neenah Solar White Copy, Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranate

Accessories: Brads, Ribbon, Dauber, Clear EP, Velvet Ribbon, Mounting Tape
