What a day it has already been. I went to bed last night at 2:00 a.m., and then woke up this morning at 6:00 – hmmmmmm four hours sleep and I’m running wild. Had a few errands this morning and more still this afternoon. In between in and out the door, I checked out todays challenge on Splitcoast. Today is the Ways to Use it Challenge and the object today is to find ways to decorate your corners. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t and more recently I feel that I my corners have been neglected. So this was one challenge I wanted to do. Now I immediately had an idea in my head, and went to work in the studio. I have to admit that what I ended up with is nothing like what I envisioned – the work of the creative genius !

All the ink used on this card is Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Ink. I stamped the background behind the cowboy lightly with Scattered Straw and then stamped the bronc buster in Vintage Photo. The Genuine on the bottom is a combination of Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Don’t know how this turned into a tall card, but it will fit in a letter (business) size envelope. The card measures 9×4.

Stamps: Wanted, Bronc Buster

Paper: Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla, SU Outlaw DP

Ink: Tim Holtz Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks

Accessories: Hodgepodge Hardware, Hemp Twine, Brads

PostScript: It’s now 3:15 as I finish up. While driving home from Louisville, Kate called and the vet had the new pup ready to be picked up. I swung by there, Mallory and I went in, talked to the groomer and the staff, went back out and my car was dead.
There was no choice but for Mallory and I to walk home carrying Elle, and then grabbed the jumper cables and went back to jump my car. I’m tellin’ ya, it’s been one heck of a day!
