Let’s Hear it For the Boys!

Hey there! Here’s my second card for the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges on Splitcoast. (If you are not a Splitcoast Fan Club Member you will need to follow this link.) This one I made for Jen’s (genie1314) challenge! This is a new set called Let’s Hear it for the Boys. It’s one of the new sets from My Favorite Things and will be released August 1. I typically have a hard time with guy cards, guess cause I don’t have the need to make many. Besides, this is probably only the second stamp set that I even own for guys. I thought I was gonna have problems with it, but actually once I got to coloring and playing around, it came together quite easily. I colored the image with Copic markers and used some scraps of BasicGrey that I had tucked away.

    Oh my gosh! I need more stamps like I need another hole in my head! But after seeing this card, I will have to have this set! Finally a set for the everyday guy! Thanks for enabling me yet again, Sherry!

    Lovely job, all the way around. I am curious about the MFT stamps. I have been having trouble with getting crisp images the few times I have tried acrylic stamps. Could you offer some advice to newbies using them? I have been shy about buying MFT stamps because of this. Thanks!

    Great masculine card. You matched the image colours very well with the paper. I like how you tucked the cap on the top of the image. Very cute. I love MFT and can’t wait to see the new stamps.
