What a morning I’ve had today! Slept in just a little and when I got up, there were people in my house. Lance is home sick today, Kate and her boyfriend were in the kitchen, the dogs were running around. Where was my quiet mornings I am so used to. This day started out a little chaotic for me and it has only gotten worse. I had to run a few errands, so I threw the pups in the car and we went to the bank. When I came home, the house smelled so funny. I noticed a smell yesterday, but not much of one to make me think eeeeeewwwww. I kept investigating the smell, opened the basement door and oh my – horrible, horrible smell. The sump pump has died! No telling how many days I have done laundry and the sump pump has not been working. I called the plumber, who can’t get here until tomorrow. I started to overlook the mess downstairs and walked into the studio to stamp a little, when Lance decided we needed to get the wet stuff out of the basement. We’ve cleaned out the old laundry room, the trash cans are full and we still need to roll up the wet carpet and get the floor dried before we can move on to something else. If I had a dumpster right now I would do a major throw out/clean up in the basement. But since I don’t – I’m taking a little break.

I really had planned on getting to the sketch challenge today, but due to the above circumstances it probably will be much later tonight or tomorrow. So, what I will show you today is a card made with Glad Tidings from Lizzie Anne Designs. The sentiment is mounted on the inside of the card, and I used the SU large oval punch to make a peek-a-boo hole.
