Good afternoon all! I’m still waiting on the plumber to arrive, but I have had some stamp time this morning – WOO HOO! I wasn’t able to work on the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge yesterday, and thought about doubling it up with today’s Ways to Use it Challenge, but the more I worked on it, it just didn’t happen that way at all! So this card is for yesterday’s Sketch Challenge.
The image is from a full sheet of unmounted rubber from Rubbernecker Stamps. Their website is still under construction, so I am assuming that they are still out on the road. I colored the image with Copic Markers and then used a red glaze pen to highlight the hearts on the ribbon. I was so impressed with the colors of Cindy Hafner’s card that I wanted to try my hand at these colors – I don’t think I did them as much justice as Cindy did. But I tried!
Stamps: Baby by Rubbernecker Stamps
Paper: SU Barely Banana, Romani by BasicGrey, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Sewing Machine, Mounting Tape, Sakura Red Gelly Roll Glaze Pen, Ribbon
I like how you used the softer colors with that bolder spash of red. Try not to strangle the plumber until AFTER he fixes your pump!!
This is just adorable, Sherry — what a darling stamp!!!! Love it!!!
This is a cute card Sherry….you put a lot of attention into the details and you rocked it!
Fabulous Sherry. You definitely did the colors justice. Trust me. I wish they’d finish they’re road trip, since I’m still wanting to find those stamps you bought in Orlando.
This is cute! What a sweet and fun image, and love that BasicGrey!
What a sweet card and cute image!
