Happy Monday! What a great lazy weekend around here. Sat on my duff and stamped when I wanted and had a great time talking to friends. Can I tell you that I am so looking forward to getting together with Jeanne and Kittie at the Pampered Stampers Retreat in Cincinnati! If you haven’t checked on that retreat, you need to! It is gonna be so much fun and it can’t come soon enough!

One of the things I worked on yesterday was a card to send off to Daughter #2. She has so much going on and is so excited with college life, and I thought this rocket from High Hellos by Lizzie Anne Designs would be so cute to send her – blasting off! Mal if you are reading this, sorry to ruin the surprise but maybe you’ll get something else as well. But that’s gonna be a secret! (BTW I did get your list of much needed items.)

Rocketing Hellos

The images are colored with Copic markers and I used a Sakura Jelly Roll Glitter pen on the stars and fuse. The background set is another Lizzie Anne set, In the Background. I stamped the circles in Real Red and Brilliant Blue at different angles on the cardstock and then sponged the edges of all the white panels with Real Red. The image panels are raised on mounting tape. The ring holding the ribbon is actually a saved ring from on old key tag.
