I’m at the end of Day 2 of the Rubber Room Remodel. I didn’t get as much done today as I had hoped, however I did finish painting the room. I ran an errand with Kate this morning, we had brunch after and then headed to Kmart. I had seen a table in the store last week that I thought would make a great work area and when I opened the store sales ad on Sunday it is on sale. Luckily they had one left and it found its way into the trunk of my car.
Here’s a picture of the whole grouping, but I only purchased the table.
My goal tomorrow is to paint an old bookcase and start painting an old cabinet that I have stored in the shed.
For a little humor, I’m going to share a card that I made a few weeks back and haven’t posted. On the outside the card says, You know you’re old when . . . and on the inside . . . you and your teeth don’t sleep together. I was telling my mother about this card the other day, and there is no doubt in my mind that she’ll end up with it.
