Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope everyone had a great weekend. For me, I finally got a haircut, Mallory came back from Spring Break on the beach, and she headed back to school yesterday. My house is back to normal and quiet!

I have a couple of announcements today. The first, Rubbernecker Stamp Company is having a March Madness Sale. There are stamps from the Rubbernecker and Stamp Oasis collections on sale for $2.95 or less.

Now for the second announcement. Today is the first challenge in the Rubbernecker Blog Challenges. Every Monday, Jeanne will be posting a new color challenge on her Blog, Inky Paws. Everyone is welcome to play along with us! However, if you make a card using any image from Rubbernecker Stamp Company and post a link back to the Challenge post on Inky Paws, you will be entered into a monthly drawing for a $25.00 Gift Certificate redeemable at Rubbernecker Stamp Company. The drawing will be held on the last Wednesday of each month and the winner will be announced on our blogs as well as the Rubbernecker Home Page.

We also have these nifty Rubbernecker Challenge Blogger buttons available for your blogs.

Just right click, save, and add it to your sidebar!!!

RBC01

The image was stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White with Adirondack Pitch Black, and then colored with Copic Markers. The underwater bubbles and the dots/trim on the bathing suit and bow were highlighted with an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen. For added texture, I added three drops of Ranger Glossy Accents over the bubbles. The image was cut out and matted on a piece of Tawny cardstock. The background paper was sewn to a panel of the tawny cardstock.

  6. Love this card!! Super cute image and your coloring is fabulous!!

  7. Your coloring on this is amazing, Sherry! I love the bubbles and the underwater effect on her legs. It looks so real! The ribbon is cute matched up with her outfit, too. The stitching, papers, everything is great!

  8. Oh My *Badness* ~ this adorable postcard is really like viewing an artist’s piece at a show 🙂 Where did you ever learn to create such masterpieces, that have such depth and realism with your shading and colouring? I sat mesmorized, just staring at the image of the girl standing in the pond, and it just felt so real as if I were looking through a glass pond, waiting to see her toes wiggling under the water.

Sherry, even though you are Bad to the *Bone* {*wink*}, you sure can crank out some truely hot pieces of Art. I wish we lived closer, that way maybe you could teach me some of these artistic techniques you possess, and maybe I could tutor you a few things. Granted, I won’t say what area of creativity I flourish in {*smirk*}. hehehehee

You are one talented Bad chick Sherry and I absolutely love it :0)
