Good morning! I don’t have much time today. I’m expecting Dave sometime this afternoon, and I still have things I need to finish up before he gets here. The samples need to be labeled with recipes and put in clear envelopes. In addition, I need to get pics made of some I finished up last night, and I need to make that grocery run for coffee and chocolate. Heaven forbid that I should leave town and not have chocolate and coffee in my bags. Jeanne normally takes care of the coffee, but she’s not traveling this trip. Bummer!

Here’s a card for today’s Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast, to use scissors. You just gotta love Ethel! Now the pun with this card is, Ethel is wielding a frying pan, right? Well, the paper is Calamity Jane from the Cosmo Cricket Wanted Collection.

The image was colored with Copic Markers, and Ranger Glossy Accents were applied to her glasses for an added dimension. I used scissors to cut out two different sized flower images from the paper, snipped the petals to separate them, and then sponged all the edges with distress ink. The background paper was sewn to another panel on the sewing machine.
