I can hardly believe that it is nearing the end of the day of the last day of February. Where oh where has the time gone . . . . Oh I KNOW, I’ve slept most of it away! You guys have to check out Linda Duke’s blog. She called me yesterday so excited and laughing hysterically. She has uploaded a video and will be doing so on a continual basis. I was so impressed with the quality of video that I had to buy the same camcorder Linda has. Linda thinks that you guys should see and hear me so that you actually hear my humor and wit . . . I don’t know about that. Maybe on the days that I actually get dressed and don’t stay in my flannel pants all day. Oh wait, in that case you guys will never see a video of me!
Today’s card is one I’ve been wanting to make for a long time. I got this image from Rubbernecker just about a year ago, and today is the first day it has seen ink. Gee I hope it’s up on the site . . . better go check! Well crap it’s not there. I’ve already sent Mr. Rubbernecker an email asking him to load it up because I know you’re gonna love it. Especially if you like to garden.
I actually picked my paper this time before I started coloring. I can’t say that I did a very good job of matching the colors, but hey . . . I tried. The angel is colored with Copic Markers and then the image background is very lightly airbrushed with blue. I used the Spellbinders Petite 5 ½” Daisy Borderabilities to cut, emboss and stencil the blue strip. The flower was cut, embossed and stenciled with the Spellbinders Daisy Heads Edgeabilities.
