Good Thursday morning! Man it seems this week has completely flown by. I still haven’t cleaned the middle of the basement, so I guess I better get to that today. The girls will be in Friday afternoon. Of course they won’t be staying here for the week . . . the punks are going on a cruise. Yeah how’s that for ya? I’ve never been on a cruise, have always wanted to go on a cruise, and more than likely will never get to. BUT, my daughter sure as hell is going on a cruise! I can tell you now that we refused to pay for it . . . so I’m sure they’re cruising economy. However, it is still a cruise and I know that they are going to have a blast!
I got my new BasicGrey paper in yesterday and couldn’t wait to make a card with Marrakech. So glad I got the buttons too. Just wish I had gotten the brads now. I love the colors in this paper! I’m also tickled to death that Rubbernecker is selling Prism papers now too. I never have a problem matching BasicGrey with Prism . . . it just goes together!
I still have a few of the Stamp Oasis Seed Packet images that I’m working on and the colors for the paper fit Poppies and Joy perfectly.
I water colored the image with Distress Reinkers and the die cut and embossed the image and all the layers beneath it with the Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities. I stitched the background layers on the sewing machine, after sponging all the edges with Dried Marigold Distress Ink.
