Good morning!  I hope those of you who strolled along with us yesterday had a great time.  I know the Red-Hot Mommas did!  All of your comments and enthusiasm was contagious and the Mommas are so appreciative.  Now if you missed the Stroll, it’s not too late.  You have until 12 Noon EDT today to stroll along with the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas. (STROLL NOW CLOSED)  All you need do, after reading this post of course, is stroll over to the Rubbernecker Blog and begin your stroll.

The other day I posted this card for the WACKY WEDNESDAY Challenge.  I was so hung up on the colors of pink and purple, that I was working outside my box going for a clean card.  I know clean is not me  . . . good gracious we all know that BAD is me!  So last night I gave myself my own challenge . . . to use the same image from the same set and do it my way!  No, I haven’t been listening to Old Blue Eyes – I actually like Elvis’ version better.  Now I’m thinking Grease . . .  Elvis, Elvis get that pelvis away from me.

Enough of my babblin’ madness!  Let’s move on to the card.  I like this one much (more) better and am not quite as embarrassed to publish it.  Here we go . . . .

The image panel is Canson Watercolor Paper, inked with “that inky thing I do,” stamped lightly in the background with French Script and then the silhouette was stamped in Vintage Photo.  The edges were distressed and then the edges of all the paper were sponged and sewn to background panels.  I finished it off using some new Tim Holtz embellishments.

I guess that’s all for today!  Mallory is coming home for the weekend and I probably should get my laundry done before she pulls in the driveway.  I hope you have a fabulous day and thanks for joining me on the BAD side for awhile!
