I can’t believe that I’m up and moving and have already finished my project for tonight’s class. I’ve also just started my second pot of coffee 
hmmmmm hmmmmm good!

I walked into Lavender Sentiments the other day and Robyn was inking up coffee filters for a class, and I got a wicked idea of using coffee filters with my project. I’m quite happy with the results.
Now look at the flowers on the top . . . they are coffee filters made with the Wrinkle Free Distress Technique. I LOVE them!
I’ve used these boxes for many things . . . . there’s two on my desk, one holds Post-It Notes and the other holds binder clips. I’ve even put gift cards in them to present my gift in.
Typically I’ve used Spellbinders™ Labels on the top, but with this one I decided to use my new stamps from JustRite and Spellbinders™ Circles. I tied a little ribbon on the top of the circle for added embellishment.

Gorgeous, Sherry. I’ve used coffee filters but not for these flowers. Typically make them from old encyclopedia pages – (dictionary pages & phone books work well, too). We have sunshine today, but got about a foot of snow in yesterday’s storm.

It’s time I tried those flowers.
Coffee filters are also great for use when your using embossing powder as they have no static and your powder goes right back into the container easily.

Gorgeous gift box Sherry. I never would of thought to use coffee filters as flowers. Here is a stupid question do you make the coffee first and then dry out the filters, or use dry coffee filters and alter them? Very clever idea. I love the sentiment and and your composition is very eye appealing. TFS!!! 😀
When the weather people are correct, it is a rarity. We got the predicted amount 15.8 inches and a four day total, with snowing twice over 44 inches total. LOL!!! I’m ready for Spring. Thanks for letting us know.
