Good morning! I truly don’t know where this week has gone. I meant to have more work done and post more this week, but . . . . life just got in the way I guess. After three weeks I finally ran out of clothes so that meant I HAD to do my laundry. Mallory and I drained and cleaned the hot tub one afternoon , we shopped another day (had to get some shorts for my upcoming trip to Florida ), AND I’m still waiting for Mr. Mojo to return from wherever he has gone.
This being Friday, it means it’s time for another Just For Fun® Friday Color Challenge. This week I challenged the JFF Designers to work with the following colors:
I know when I picked these colors I had something in mind but when I went down to the studio to work I couldn’t remember what it was. My project today is actually my second attempt. The first got flung to the side and trampled on.
The panel itself is a balsa wood plague that I painted white, distressed it with my sanding tools and added some ink along the edges. The flowers and leaves are made from Grunge Board. This is actually a companion piece to go with the one from Color Challenge #13.
- Stamps: E3093 Inspiration, G2552 Sketchy Grid and E2887 Daisy from Just For Fun® Rubber Stamps
- Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black and Coffee; Ranger Tumbled Glass, Crushed Olive, Old Paper and Vintage Photo Distress Ink
- Accessories: Balsa Wood Plague; Florist Wire; Tim Holtz idea-ology Grunge Board, Game Spinner, Long Fastener, Sprocket Gear; Button; Black 100% Jute from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store
We would love to have you play along with us! You don’t have to use Just For Fun® stamps, especially if you don’t have any yet. However, if you do play along, you might just be the lucky winner of a 25% Discount so you can go shopping! All you have to do is make a card/project using the above colors and post a direct link using Mr. Linky on the Just For Fun® Blog.
For further inspiration, you should also visit the blogs of the other Designers. They’ve got some awesome projects to share with you today.

You are truly the master Sherry! :p This is great!
Sherry, I am new to this challenge stuff and I couldn’t find where to leave a comment on the JFF site. I have linked my card to their site, but the comment is here.
Thank you for the challenges.
