Good Monday morning! I hope y’all had a great weekend and you’re all refreshed and ready to start a new week. Personally I’m struggling with it . . . . but hey, we all can’t be rosy . . . but we can be peachy!Â
So I got myself unpacked, laundry done, stuff carried into the studio and I’m ready to start designing. I came back with some great ideas and a few special things to play with. What’s that? You want to know what those special things are? Nope not gonna tell yet because if I did what would the secret and surprise be. Stayed tuned though because you are going to love it!
Now that CHA is over I’m able to show you some of my favorite projects I did for the booth. This one today is way to fun and I could hardly wait to show it to you.
The background is a chipboard page that was covered in ink and then stamped on with the haunted house and the weeds in the foreground. I knew from the get go when I saw these new graveyard die templates exactly what I wanted to do. All the gravestones and the witch were cut from Grunge Paper. The border piece was mounted on the outside of scrap wood trim that was painted black. The other two headstones were popped up in the back at different heights.
I loved this project and had such fun making it. It’s always fun when you first see something, envision the outcome, and pull it off!Â

Well, I guess that’s all I have for today. I need to run some errands and spend some time with Mallory. It won’t be long until she’s back at school! Thanks for stopping by and remember . . . life is short, enjoy the adventures of the day!
This is to cute! Can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve!
Love this!!! so spooky and creative!! I am lovin’ your projects that use wood scraps so much that I grabbed a bunch from a bucket at my dad’s house while I was there last week…good thing he saves all that “junk” after all!!!
You’re the best! I always look forward to what your fertile imagination produces. Your composition and layers are always an inspiration.
Very clever idea. I’m thinking I could make it into a card, just not sticking out so much. Edna

What a great Halloween decoration! Love the yellow spotlight/moonlight and the 3D effect.
