Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a good weekend and you’re not in the line of these early morning storms. I awoke at 4:00 this morning to the sounds of the tornado siren at the end of the street going off. We’ve had some BAD storms this morning! All is safe and sound here now . . . and the little shitz have all settled down.
One thing about getting up so early this morning, was the fact that I finished a card I was working on yesterday. I colored the image and then went looking for paper to make the card . . . 
. . . I threw my hands up 
, turned off the lights and came upstairs to watch the race.
I don’t think I’ve ever introduced you to Kiki. She’s from Inky Antics and I’ve had her for years and don’t think I’ve ever put ink to her. Oh I KNOW . . . how could I have done that? What makes this stamp even better, is that all the grandkids called my mother Kiki, until they got too old and felt they should call her Grammy instead.
I’ve also used a sentiment, Cut that Out, from Inky Antics that I just had to have! Every year when my mother wishes me a happy birthday, it is my pleasure to tell her that she’s getting older . . . SO, I just had to have this sentiment. The top half was stamped for the front of the card and the bottom half for the inside.
I settled on Graphic45 On the Boardwalk paper (this was the hardest part of the card) and then added some ivory silk May Arts Ribbon (from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store).

Your post made me smile this morning. We too had major storms with wind, rain and hail. Lots of flooding in the area…I was lining up the animals two by two there! But we made it through…love your card and especially the sentiment!

Oh yeah! This is fun and that saying is perfect. Wonderful colors and I know I’m not well, but I love that big honkin’ luscious bow. I am off to put you in my favorites. I seem to come by every now and then when I’m on one of those hippity hop things and say “I need to come back regularly” and then I forget. I am TOTALLY uncomfortable with this agin’ crap…
