Hey everybody! My sister told me today that I needed to do something with my blog. I guess she’s getting tired of looking at the same old post.
I hope y’all had a fabulous Christmas and are gearing up for the New Year. I for one will be doing the same thing I’ve done for every New Year’s Eve . . . staying put in my jammies on the couch.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your comments, emails and well wishes. You have truly touched my heart!
I still haven’t made it into the studio, even though my goal was head down this week. Today . . . yes today will be the day!
For some medical updates . . . I did find out that I do have a discrepancy with the arteries in my heart. The middle artery is short and does not reach the base of the heart like it should so I have some new medications that I’ve been adjusting to. One med is to slow my heart rate and the other is to enlarge my arteries;

for all you ladies out there who know what “Living Out Loud” is all about (Menopause the Musical) . . . power surges, night sweats, memory lapses . . . you get the drift . . . I finally have got me some of them there hormones . . . look out! TOWANDA is on the move! (one of my favorite scenes from Fried Green Tomatoes)
I guess that’s all I have to say today . . .
But I’ll be back with a Graphic 45 project that I did for the Petaloo Blog Swap. I think you’re going to love it . . . . I know I do!
Good morning! I’m here today to put some rumors to rest and fill you in on what is happening on my end.
I’ve been a little under the weather lately and decided to have myself checked out by a new doctor (that my sister and mother have recently started going to).
Of course, when you go to a new doctor the first steps are having a complete physical and work-up. I’ve had a sleep test done, been checking my blood pressure twice a day for two weeks now, and I’ve had blood drawn a number of times. I should have the results of all that work on Monday morning. However . . .
I had a nuclear stress test and of course, I failed. I didn’t last too long until I started breathing very heavy and hard and my heart rate sored up. THEN when I had the pictures made . . .
. . . they came back with some abnormalities. Needless to say, at this point my doctor ordered a heart cath.
Let me just say at this point that my heart is just fine and is beating strong
There are no blockages, blah blah blah . . . and a big WOO HOO!!!!
I’ve been resting this week . . . no stairs (which means no studio), no driving (until yesterday when I HAD to go out), no walking, standing or sitting for extended periods . . . you get the picture . . . I’ve been
Where we go from here, I don’t know. What I do know is that I will trust my new doctor and we will work together to make me feel like I should!
In the meantime, I’ll still have that occasional project that I can share and I will be working on projects for CHA. They are all due soon and things I won’t be able to share until after CHA.
