Happy weekend . . . I don’t want you to be alarmed or anything, BUT I actually made a card!  For me at this time . . . that’s a big deal!!!!!!

I’m sure all of you have been thinking that I’ve been busy with CHA top secret projects and quite frankly I should have been.  I haven’t been able to be.  I’ve received emails everyday about this project, that project and what I need to make.  I’ve had a problem though . . . NO MOJO!

I’ve been sitting at my work desk looking at the fabulous new product that has come through my front door and that’s as far as I have gotten.  The mind has been blank . . . nothing!  My sister always tells people that she hates me, because I can look at some tacky box, paper, etc., and come up with an idea immediately.  NOT NOW until last night!

I’ve been going through Pinterest and my Google reader daily looking for anything that would spark my creativity and every day I have come up empty.   Slump Ville!  Ready to hang it up type of slump  . . . thinking I need to make big changes type of slump . . . AND THEN

last night while cruising Pinterest I saw these awesome cards and went to look at the designers blog.  WHOA Nelly . . . is she ever talented!  ENCZA at ENCZOWO.

My card today is a CASE of one of hers, with me changing up the colors and using Spellbinders™ instead of ready-made flowers.  For the life of me I can’t find the card now on her blog.  I printed it off so I would have it on my desk, but crap now I can’t find it.  All I can say is  . . . please visit ENCZA’s blog . . . you will be totally overwhelmed and inspired by what you see!  WAIT I just found it . . . at THIS POST!

So anyway, here’s my card.

The paper used is My Mind’s Eye – Lost & Found Union.  The card size is based mainly on the size of the Curved Rectangles that I used.  The flower was made from Grand Peony Creations and the foliage was die cut from GrungePaper.  The seam binding was dyed with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  That little bit of black behind the flower is a flourish from Imaginarium Designs, that my friend Jane Tregenza sent me.

So I think I might have found something to spark my creative spirit finally.  I hope you enjoy the card and thanks for stopping by . . . I truly appreciate you visiting, sending emails and leaving comments . . . you guys are the ones keeping me going right now!
