Happy Tuesday!  First things first, my day for the Spellbinders Abilities and Beyond Blog Frenzy is fast approaching.  It’s actually tomorrow, but I’ll be back later tonight to post my projects.  I’m super excited about sharing my projects with you  . . . something a little different from this old girl!

I hate to ask this (not really), but are you ready for another sneak peek?  I knew you would be!

What do you see here?  Anything new?

Let me just say that the flourish is sadly not a new die.  It’s chipboard from Imaginarium Designs.  LOVE their chipboard and it takes ink so well!  I especially love their flourishes . . . so far they are the best I’ve found for working with my flowers!

Well, I’m off to prepare for my big day tomorrow and of course, get some other work done.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Good morning!  I hope y’all had a great weekend.  I spent two busy days in the studio and actually had a great time  . . . it’s nice when you finally are working on a project and you get lost in it . . . THAT’S when the magic happens!

I was working on my final projects for the Spellbinders™ booth at CHA.  Of course I’m not allowed to show you these until after CHA begins, but hey . . . could a little sneak peek hurt?  I don’t think so . . . Do you?  I didn’t think so.

Okay go ahead, twist my arm just a little more  . . . that’s it . . . UNCLE!

SpellbinderSneakPeek!

Can you tell where the new Spellbinders dies are?  Any guesses as to what they are?

I’m really excited about this project and can’t wait until I can share the entire piece with you.

Well, I’m heading back into the studio to work on Graphic 45 projects . . . most importantly work on my demo for the Graphic 45 booth.  YES, I will be in the Graphic 45 booth on Sunday at 10:00 or 11:00 (I have both times written down and I’m not sure which one is correct . . . need to check on that) showing everyone how to make my metal flowers!  If you are at CHA, stop by and see me!

That’s it for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy weekend . . . I don’t want you to be alarmed or anything, BUT I actually made a card!  For me at this time . . . that’s a big deal!!!!!!

I’m sure all of you have been thinking that I’ve been busy with CHA top secret projects and quite frankly I should have been.  I haven’t been able to be.  I’ve received emails everyday about this project, that project and what I need to make.  I’ve had a problem though . . . NO MOJO!

I’ve been sitting at my work desk looking at the fabulous new product that has come through my front door and that’s as far as I have gotten.  The mind has been blank . . . nothing!  My sister always tells people that she hates me, because I can look at some tacky box, paper, etc., and come up with an idea immediately.  NOT NOW until last night!

I’ve been going through Pinterest and my Google reader daily looking for anything that would spark my creativity and every day I have come up empty.   Slump Ville!  Ready to hang it up type of slump  . . . thinking I need to make big changes type of slump . . . AND THEN

last night while cruising Pinterest I saw these awesome cards and went to look at the designers blog.  WHOA Nelly . . . is she ever talented!  ENCZA at ENCZOWO.

My card today is a CASE of one of hers, with me changing up the colors and using Spellbinders™ instead of ready-made flowers.  For the life of me I can’t find the card now on her blog.  I printed it off so I would have it on my desk, but crap now I can’t find it.  All I can say is  . . . please visit ENCZA’s blog . . . you will be totally overwhelmed and inspired by what you see!  WAIT I just found it . . . at THIS POST!

So anyway, here’s my card.

The paper used is My Mind’s Eye – Lost & Found Union.  The card size is based mainly on the size of the Curved Rectangles that I used.  The flower was made from Grand Peony Creations and the foliage was die cut from GrungePaper.  The seam binding was dyed with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  That little bit of black behind the flower is a flourish from Imaginarium Designs, that my friend Jane Tregenza sent me.

So I think I might have found something to spark my creative spirit finally.  I hope you enjoy the card and thanks for stopping by . . . I truly appreciate you visiting, sending emails and leaving comments . . . you guys are the ones keeping me going right now!
