Hey everybody! How the heck are ya? I know I’ve been fairly lax in posting on the old blog lately. I’ve been so busy with projects I can’t post yet, classes, my girls and other stuff, that it’s been the last thing I think about. Actually, I was thinking yesterday about my blog and how I used to tell stories, etc., and how I’ve gotten away from it. I don’t know why either . . . I guess time constraints, design team work, etc. I’m not happy with the way things have been here . . . so look for some changes. I’ll write more about that in another post.
How many of you are signed up for and receive the Graphic 45 newsletter? I didn’t even know about it until a few months ago. Everyone was talking about the Graphic 45 Design Team Call in the newsletter and I’m going . . . duh, what newsletter?  I didn’t try out for the upcoming design team, not because I didn’t see the newsletter (I’ve since signed up for it) . . . BUT because of other, more personal reasons.  My daughter, Kate, is expecting her first baby . . . my first grandchild . . . and I wanted my time to be free so I could babysit! I’ve been so excited but didn’t want to say anything because the kids were waiting to tell people. It still may not be okay . . . but I can’t wait anymore! I’m going to be a grammy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, back to the Graphic 45 Newsletter. I have a big project in the newsletter that went out today . . . I altered one of their 5×5 kraft boxes for springtime and it contains that promised video of how to make my flowers. You can also find the video on my YouTube Channel.

Congratulations Sherry!!! I’m so excited for you and your daughter — and even Mr. Grouchy (or whatever he goes by). It really changed my dad! Not that I’m suggesting there is anything at all wrong with Mr. Grumpy, just, you know. My dad could squeeze a nickel, but when my son was born (happy birthday to him today, 26!) and said his first word, which wasn’t mama or even dada, but BALL, my dad thought he was just so cute Grandpa bought that rotten kid every ball he pointed to — and there were quite a few!
But I digress, actually I don’t, well not too much. Anyway, I think I get the Graphic 45 Newsletter — your links sent me to EP and while I would love to go shopping there, not in today’s budget. We’ll see if I get this tutorial. I am loving your box so I may invest in one or two as gifts.
As another aside — remember when everyone waited until after the first trimester to tell people they were “with child”? I’m glad your daughter waited awhile. Some people tell and it turns out they just had sex last night! That’s just a little too early for me!

So happy for you!!! People always told me how wonderful grandkids were, but until you have your own!!! OMG!!! Who knew! My 3 little ones are just the light of my life! Congrats!! You’ll be an awesome grandma! Oh, and I LOVE your little Easter box!! How cute!
Congratulations, Sherry, becoming a first time grandmother. I LOVE being a grandmother and wish that my two children would have babies every year. But they each have one and that’s their limit, darn! By the way, your Easter goodie box is beautiful; love your flowers, as usual.
Oh Sherry – you are just going to LOVE being a grandma!!!!!!!! It is the most wonderful feeling. I adored my kids, but just can’t explain what a totally different and special kind of love you have with your grandkids (especially if you are planning on providing day care for them). We have 5 now, but only the last two (twin girls) who live locally and who I watch 4 days a week so Mommy & Daddy can work. I am enjoying them to the fullest since they are the last of the grandkids for hubby and me. I am just so excited for you. Can’t wait for you to share the experience with us. You will still be able to find the time to craft, I promise.

Rock on Granny! We have 13 with a 14th little girl on the way this spring 🙂 You will love your new title and position in life. It’s such an honor to be a wise teacher instead of a new “what do I do now?” mom. Thanks for the tut, great fun those flowers, the box is darling. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Awesome news! Being a Grammy is one of my greatest joys. Mine are 4 and 9 now. With Mom & Dad both having teaching careers, I’ve been a major caretaker since they were infants. I love going to their t-ball and soccer games, but I do miss that infant stage. Enjoy EVERY moment possible because the time goes way to quickly.

WOW!!! Congratulations Sherry!! Being a Grammie is just awesome! My first grand baby (a boy) will be turning 1 on April 1st, and it has been the most wonderful and fun experience! Congrats, Sherry! You are going to LOOOOOOOOOOVE it! We just had our 2nd granddaughter…sweet, sweet, sweet! So much more fun than being the mom. Just wait til he/she is old enough to join you in your studio! Our sweetie makes a card everytime she comes over…loves to stamp. And she’s only 2 1/2!

Well Sherry, Congratulations on becoming a grammy!! I am sure you will be fantabulous at it!! Oh, my, my, my~~it is the most wonderful thing..to see this precious little bundle, toes, fingers, nose and ears what a wonderous thing!! I remember when my first (and only) grandson was born, I wanted to squeeze him so tight!! I honestly had to remind myself he was just a little baby and not hug so tight….I have 5 now and they are all just awesome!! Oh, and congrats to the expectant mommy and daddy and grumpy, oops, I mean grampy too:) Enjoy the journey!!
