A few weeks ago I was contacted by Suzanne Cannon, owner of Quietfire Design, about their new stamps.  When I got Suzanne’s email I had to laugh, because I had just seen the stamps the day before in her newsletter and loved them.  I knew that this was a set I was going to have to have.  So when Suzanne asked if I would participate in a blog hop with this new release, there was no way that I couldn’t say YES . . . while jumping up and down and a cartwheel thrown in for good measure.

Here’s some information on the upcoming blog hop . . . and look at the designers I get to hop with!

I haven’t even started my project yet . . .  that is hopefully going to happen today when I finally toddle into the studio sometime this afternoon.

Thanks for all your nice comments and well wishes about my recent surgery.  This is twice I’ve had this done in just about two years and all I can say is . . . I HATE having to have this surgery.   I might say that this time wasn’t nearly as bad as the last . . . at least Mallory was thankful she didn’t need to shave my head.

Okay that’s it for me . . . thanks for stopping by and remember . . . life is short, enjoy the adventures that come your way today!

  1. Hi Sherry,

You are quite a woman! I love your spirit. Don,t you just love Quiet Fire Designs stamps. In my classes I always put sayings on the inside, the girls can use them or not(99.9% they do) .I order Quiet Fire,s all the time. This set is great. I look forward to seeing what you do. Elaine

  2. Sherry….you are an amazing woman! Hope you are feeling better!! Looking forward to your project with the quietfire designs! Happy weekend….and most importantly….Happy Mother’s Day!

  3. love that sentiment about being strong, my DH is critically ill, undergoing horrible intense treatments that we hope will lead to a cure. so this is perfect to make a card for him.

  4. Sounds like a fun hop! I’m not familiar with these stamps but just love the set you are showing! I’m so glad you are feeling better and will be able to get back in your crafty groove soon. Happy Mothers Day to you and all your readers too!

  5. I have not been introduced to these stamps as of yet, but I love this set that you are showing. I am so glad to hear that this surgery was easier than the first. Surgery is just not my idea of a fun time. Looking forward to hopping.

  6. Quietfire….I love the stamps. The fonts are art and how I always wanted to write, but never quite could. Most of the sentiments for my Christmas cards were stamps from Quietfire. Gotta say they’ve chosen a good team….

You sound like you are well on your way to a full recovery….so keep up the great work…that means, keep doing what you are supposed to…. I know that’s hard to do.

Thanks too for your great comment on my blog. It’s wonderful hearing from the paper queen!

  7. I love the oval stamp, it is very cute
