Have you been enjoying the Sneak Peek – Spellbinders™ Summer Spectacular?  I know I have!  I love seeing the projects the other Designers come up with using the dies that I’ve looked at but haven’t tried yet!   It also has given me a chance to see what some of them are SUPPOSED to look like when I use them . . . sometimes you just never know (well this meno-memory doesn’t).

As I said I would the other day, I can now post all the details on the second card I made with Framed Labels One.

LabelsOneCard

For this card, the Frame Labels One M-Bossabilities folder was inked with Peridot Mix’d Media Inx, and then the white paper was embossed.   To match the ink on the bottom, the seam binding was also dyed with the Peridot Inx.

CardCLOSEUPFlowers

The Bitty Blossom flower and leaves were die cut/embossed from white mixed media paper and then the flower was inked with Wisteria and the leaves with Mossy Mix’d Media Inx.

Okay off my point here, but I have to tell you  . . .  I LOVE these Donna Salazar Mix’d Media Inx.  I finally purchased some a few weeks ago and they are fasting becoming “go-to” favorites.  They are pigment, so they can be embossed, but they also react with water.  One of the favorite things now is to apply some of the Inx to the edges of the paper, mist with water, and let the Inx run a little.  You can see here on the Labels One (the blue layer), where I added Jasmine Inx to the edges . . . love the soft look.

CardCLOSEUPEmbossingANDLabels

Once I can post other CHA projects, you’ll see that I used the Inx quite often!

The sentiment was stamped in Wisteria (to match the flower) and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  The sentiment panel was stenciled with Antique Linen before removing the paper from the die.  The leaves were white when die cut/embossed, stenciled with Mossy; and then when the paper was removed, it was misted with water to let the Inx bleed to the edges of the paper.  LOVE the results!

I guess that’s all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to embrace the adventures that come your way . . . life is too damn short!
