Good morning!  Oh my BADness,  too much time went by without me posting anything.  I got so sidetracked with the baby last week (a little fussy, a little sick and a whole lot spoiled) that I never made it into the studio for very long at any given time.

Two things today!  First, I have posted a Valentine’s Day card over the Quietfire Creations Blog.

To see more pictures and get all the details, you’ll need to visit the Quietfire Creations Blog.

Secondly!  Quietfire has announced the 4th Annual Queen of Hearts Challenge! Check it out while you’re over there . . . lots of prizes, a Blog Hop, awards . . . just a whole lot of fun!

So that it’s for me right now!  I’ve got a mixed media project in process and can’t wait to share it with you . . . hopefully within the next few days!

  3. Hey, Sherry….glad to know you weren’t sick. I was wondering about you…glad it was just extra “baby time”. Love this card…Simply elegant. The distressing is lovely, and the colors are so nice and soft. Worth the wait!

  4. Beautiful as usual:). The colors are lovely

  5. While in Amarillo last week, stopped by a craft store and purchased some distress stains to use on flowers. The first attempt, with stamp pads, didn’t go well the day I watched your video, so am going to try again; the petals tore before I could put the layers together. I’m going to review the video tutorial again…lol Your Valentine card is beautiful, Sherry, really like what you did with the heart behind the embossing!

  6. Absolutely, positively love the soft romantic feel of this very pretty card.

  7. Sherry, your card is 100% just right! Beautiful. Glad the baby is all right…

  8. Sherry, this card is so pretty. I love the color combination. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

  10. This is just soooo gorgeous! Beautiful!

  11. Love this card. So many times you can tell someone has purposely “distressed ” a card, but yours has the effect of being truly old with the tearing just at the bottom and the wrinkled ribbon. Beautiful job!

  12. Gorgeous card Sherry. So soft and pretty. What would we do without our gorgeous Spellbinder dies!!!!!!?????? They always ad just the right touch. I am so addicted to them.
