Good morning all!  I hope everyone has had a good month so far and you are looking forward to the holidays.  We are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with the Cheever brothers and their families and then decorating for Christmas.  Mallory has been busy making wreaths while I’ve been chasing Hadlee around the house.  I’ve been wearing an activity tracker for over a month now and I can sure tell by my tracker the days we’ve had the baby!

I have to tell you that the old mojo has run off and disappeared!  Perhaps it’s not only the mojo but also the desire to create . . . burn out maybe . . .  or just lack of inspiration . . . I don’t know what it is quite honestly.  I can feel a shift coming on and I’m not quite sure where it is going to take me.

I have a project up on the Quietfire Creations Blog today, and in trying to get things started up again, I stayed with something simple . . . making some of my favorite snowflakes.

SnowflakeCard

You can see more photos and get all the details on the Quietfire Creations Blog. Please hop over there and check it out!

Thanks for stopping by today and hopefully I’m going to find something to pull me back into the studio today!

  1. Your creations doesn’t indicate your lack of desire to create! This is amazing. I think I’ve been happier since I can do what I want, when I want. I just needed a break from design teams! Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Sherry, your card is beautiful; love how you use the glass glitter. Maybe after the holidays, your enthusiasm for creative thinking will return. Enjoy your time with the family on Thanksgiving.

  3. I’d say one can NEVER go wrong with snowflakes!!
Aaaannddd…..I know for me when I’m busy with Life (aka kids, family, etc) there is just no extra energy to create. I’m sure chasing an active toddler around is using up some extra energy!!

  4. Snowflakes and snowmen are my favorite!

  5. I think your card is scrumptious, Hope your Holidays are wonderful.

  6. BEAUTIFUL! I’m headed over to see how you made that wonderful snowflake now 🙂
