Wow where has the time gone since I last posted?

Well, I’ll tell ya!

Here . . . .

and here . . .

for my classes at The Queen’s Ink.

In case any of you are interested, they have been posted on The Queen’s website.  You can find them here!  I’m there June 9 and 10th.

Did I tell you that we finally got Mallory back to school?  Well we did and she gets that 5-year diploma this Saturday, Derby Day! Smiley from

She’ll be home for the month and then she heads off for training for her new position, teaching math in the Mississippi Delta.  She was recruited by Teach for America based on her leadership skills.  We don’t know where she’ll be yet . . . and won’t until July.  That’s when mom and grandma head south to set her up in housekeeping.

Lots going on here!

Anyhoo, glad you stopped by and remember . . . life is short, take time to enjoy the adventures of your day!

I’m ready to hit the studio now . . . found tons of inspiration and great ideas!

Happy Wednesday!  I’m home from CHA and so tired, but I’m still chugging along.  Today I unpacked, started laundry, did some repacking and then did some last minute shopping for my Smiley from

I didn’t take many pictures at CHA, mainly because I was running around from meeting to meeting.  I never even pulled my camera out of my bag . . . I grabbed the cell phone each time and took just a few.  HOWEVER, I’ve borrowed a few photos from some friends.

Here I am with Nancy Wethington and Laura Denison at the Graphic 45 booth.

I was so thrilled to finally meet these girls . . . I’ve admired their work for a long time!

Here we all are with Diane!  That’s Gloria Stengel and Jane Tragenza on the right.

We had a G45 Dinner that night and we all gathered outside the restaurant for a group photo.  It’s a little blurry, but it’s the best I could find.  Jane’s son took a number of photos, so hopefully I’ll have another to upload.

CHA is not CHA unless I can spend a few minutes catching up with Wendy Vecchi.  Here we are at her book signing.

I’ll be gone for the next week or so, but I’ll try and post a few updates  . . . if I can.  While I’m away, let me leave you with these thoughts . . . CHA was fabulous for new adventures and things to come . . . there will be some big changes and announcements coming to the BAD Side over the next few months.  I think I can probably share this one now, because I’m over the moon excited . . . I’ve scheduled a weekend of classes at The Queen’s Ink!  YES, I will be teaching some classes with the Queen!  There will be more info on this later . . .

Thanks for stopping by and remember . . . life is short, grab onto the adventures of the day!

Yesterday I got this bright idea to take some pictures of my work room.  It really is a mess and I can use something, set it down, and then not find it again.  I wonder where my tweezers are?

If you look close enough, you might see some CHA projects laying around!

Mr. Stodgy came down for a visit the other night . . . he didn’t have anywhere to sit. Smiley from

Shipping boxes under the table, the Graphic 45 on the table and a box of new Spellbinders releases.

I keep tripping every time I try to squeeze into the closet . . . Smiley from

Anyhoo, just thought I would share . . .

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day . . . remember, life is short . . . enjoy the adventures of today!

Me marching to the beat of the little drums in my head! Smiley from

Hey everybody!  My sister told me today that I needed to do something with my blog.  I guess she’s getting tired of looking at the same old post.

I hope y’all had a fabulous Christmas and are gearing up for the New Year.  I for one will be doing the same thing I’ve done for every New Year’s Eve . . .  staying put in my jammies on the couch.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your comments, emails and well wishes.  You have truly touched my heart!

I still haven’t made it into the studio, even though my goal was head down this week.  Today . . . yes today will be the day!

For some medical updates . . . I did find out that I do have a discrepancy with the arteries in my heart.  The middle artery is short and does not reach the base of the heart like it should so I have some new medications that I’ve been adjusting to.  One med is to slow my heart rate and the other is to enlarge my arteries;

for all you ladies out there who know what “Living Out Loud” is all about (Menopause the Musical) . . . power surges, night sweats, memory lapses . . . you get the drift . . . I finally have got me some of them there hormones . . . look out! TOWANDA is on the move!  (one of my favorite scenes from Fried Green Tomatoes)

I guess that’s all I have to say today . . .

But I’ll be back with a Graphic 45 project that I did for the Petaloo Blog Swap.  I think you’re going to love it . . . . I know I do!
