Good Wednesday morning!  I seem to be getting back in the groove slowly but surely.   The decorations are put away, the studio is back in order and Mallory leaves tomorrow for school.  The house will soon be all mine again!

Since it’s Wednesday . . . What’s on Your Work Desk?  Mine?  I was a busy girl yesterday finishing up CHA projects.  They will be out the door today only to be seen by me again when I visit the Spellbinders booth . . . and if I must say so . . . excellent projects.  I’m very excited about them!

One thing you must see is one of my new toys.

A spice spinner from Pampered Chef.  I found that medicine bottles from Hospice fit perfectly and they are great to hold all those little embellishments.  I cut down the packaging from the embellishment and tape it right to the bottle!

My ever present coffee cup and now my nicotine replacement therapy.  Those blurry things?  Projects for CHA that you’ll see more of in the upcoming weeks.  Stay tuned . . . the Spellbinders Blog Hop is fast approaching.  My day is January 13th.

Okay I must confess.  I don’t like a bunch of stuff piled on my work space.  I must clean it as I go along and after every project completed everything is put away and I start over.  Things I’ve used and need to keep track of are set to the side so I remember to include the product (like paper and dies).  See my inks are stacked off to the right . . . I was done with them for this project.  At this point I was actually in the process of getting my embellishments together for the finishing touches.

Oh my BADness, I almost forgot about the winner of the Crafts ‘n Things issue!  I loved reading all your comments and stories.  Quite frankly some of them brought me to tears as I was reading (that’s a hard thing to do) and I had to email a number of you as the comments came in I was so moved.  I don’t want to keep you waiting any longer . . ..

QUEEN MARY please send me your snail mail address.  You can email me at scheever@insightbb.com!

I still have a few more copies and you never know when the mood might strike me to send another . . . .

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your day is a fabulous one!  I’m hoping my new glasses are in and I can finally pick them up and I might, just might, find someone to cut this stylish hair of mine!

Remember, life is short . . . . embrace the adventures of the day!

Oh my BADness . . . it’s Wednesday already . . . . Smiley from millan.net

I got up early today.  I mean really, really early . . . 4:00 or so this morning.  Smiley from millan.net was still home too!  Talk about a Smiley from millan.net

I crashed again around 6:30 but before I did, I had a few hours to read though my daily blogs, Facebook, etc.  In perusing my daily reads I noticed that today is the last WOYWW (What’s on Your Work desk Wednesday) for the year.  Now I’ve been watching this group all year and keep thinking that I so would like to play along.  I’ve just never taken the time to do so . . . BUT . . .  today is different.  (perhaps the need is fitting in with my new personal challenge of trying to do and be better)

Actually my work table this morning is exactly how I left it last night.  Kate and Will came in for dinner (we ordered Tumbleweed) and when they left to pick it up I turned off my lights to go up and set the table.  After dinner the girls and I crashed in my little sitting room to watch double episodes of Glee, so I never made it back downstairs.

Anyhoo, my table

I was in the process of making a list of the product I used for my top secret project.  You can’t see my project in the photo . . .  I covered it up (its on the top of the work area covered with white).   What did I cover it up with you ask?  That’s the back side of my storage sheet for a brand new, sight unseen, not yet released Spellbinders™ die set.

I absolutely LOVE this new release and you’ll be seeing some of the sets over and over again!  Of course I’ll be able to show you the project AFTER CHA (since it is for the Spellbinders booth I can’t show you before).

However I bet you can guess there was a hot glue involved so that means there’s some GrungePaper involved along with lots of Distress Inks.

Well, that’s all I have for you today.  Mallory is going shopping and I’m half contemplating going with her . . . . the other half of me is thinking some inky fun in the studio!  Anyhoo, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
