Happy Sunday!  Wow what a fast and furious weekend.  I left here at 6:30 am Friday morning to attend my Copic Certification in Indianapolis.  I knew Lori Craig was going to be my instructor, but I had no idea so many of my fellow Dirty Girls were going to be there!  I was sitting with Dawn Lusk and Amber Hillman when Jennifer Buck walked in!  I was also able to meet one of the newest Splitcoaststampers Dirty Girls, Lisa Henke!  Not only did I get to meet up with some old and new friends, but I also got to meet some of my blog readers . . . it couldn’t have been any better.  Nancy Shope was so sweet and brought me a wooden box filled with wooden tiles!  She said a friend gave them to her and thought of me and my chunky art immediately.  I can’t wait to have time to see what I can come up with them . . . it’s going to make one fabulous set . . . that I’m sure of!

After class I drove over to spend the night with Mallory and visit with her on Saturday.  It was great to have dinner and spend some quality time with her.  We packed up 75% of her room, loaded it into my car and now when she comes home in a few weeks she’ll have very little to pack up.

I was going to work on my card for the Just For Fun® color challenge during the NASCAR race today, but I got so into it that I didn’t make it to the studio until after the race . . . great finish today!

Before I show you my card, I need to tell you that the new designers for Just For Fun® will be announced tomorrow at 4:30 am, EST, on the Just For Fun® Blog.  It was a tough decision and we want to thank everyone who sent in out my pad  . . . well it was just like a new pad of paper with very little used from it.  That should tell you just how much I do use these colors!  Here’s a reminder of the Color Challenge in case you missed it.

AND you still have time to play along with the JFF Designers.  All you need to do is make any type of card or project using these colors and post a direct link to the Color Challenge post on the Just For Fun® Blog using Mr. Linky.  Who knows, you might win a 25% Discount on your next shopping spree at Just For Fun® Rubber Stamps.

I colored the image of the poppy orange with Copic Markers, masked it with Eclipse Tape and then airbrushed the area around the poppy with a light yellow.  I used Spellbinders™ Circle Nesties to matt the poppy.  The Marrakech background papers were sewn to a background of light blue, and the actual card base is grey!  I got all the challenge colors  . . .

I hope you’ve had a good weekend and thanks for stopping by!  Lots to show you this week  . . . So, I’ll be back!
