  7. Love the frame! By the way, I took myself out of the box and bought some grunge paper yesterday. Hopefully my flowers will look almost as gorgeous as yours…ha ha….well, I can at least dream a little.

  10. LOVE this frame, Sherry! I may have to follow your lead & create a similar one for my daughter!
    You know, when I’ve colored the seam binding, I’ve never thought to just run the ink pad right onto the fabric. Duh. I always stamp the ink onto my craft sheet – as you did with the VP ink – spray that with water, run my fabric through it. And that explains, probably, why when I try to add VP or another brown for the more vintage look, I sometimes end up with ‘mud’. Yep, doing it your way next time! And I have to tell you – YOU are responsible for my new obsession with seam binding bows – I LOVE them!! Thank you for being my inspiration!

  27. Stupendous project! I adore your flowers – and now I must get the peony die – which I had been debating – My kids watched Wizard of Oz so much when they were young (we had taped it) – they had it totally memorized. Again – great project (and instructional videos).

  35. Those new spellbinders Peonies look awesome on your project. Love the color choice. I am thinking that these stains have so much potential especially the ease I think one would have using them to stain ribbon. I am wondering though about how much waste you would have with some of these techniques. No matter I am going to try them!!!
